Starting in March, Bodegas Portia welcomes a new art exhibition following the closing of Ars fundum, on display since 2016. From the Sea to the Stars is an exhibition of works by the Granada-born sculptor, José Manuel Robles. The exhibition completes the tour of the iconic Ribera del Duero winery designed by Foster + Partners offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
From the Sea to the Stars is comprised of sculptures that offer a surrealistic, abstract vision of a changing and evolving universe composed of colourful organic forms. They are works that invite the spectator to travel while perceiving the surrounding beauty. As godson of Federico García Lorca’s sister, the author, José Manuel Robles, absorbs the artistic essence of the poet from its most intimate conception, forging a style of its own that opens a window to the aesthetic depth of the cosmos without losing its alignment with nature.
